Furukawa Co.,Ltd., together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and sells machinery, metals, electronics, and chemical products worldwide. Its Industrial Machinery segment offers slurry, sewage, water, shield construction slurry, submersible heavy-duty sand, and special pumps; and electrostatic precipitators, scrap car shredders, crushers, grinding mills, briquetting machines, classifiers and separators, filtration-type precipitators, harmful gas processors, water treatment equipment, steel structures and bridges, material handling systems, bridges, belt conveyors, and crushers and mills. The company's Rock Drill Machinery segment provides hydraulic breakers, hydraulic crushers, rotary drills, pneumatic crawler drills, hydraulic crawler drills, down the hole and rotary drills, tunnel drill jumbos, tunnel and mining machines, concrete sprayers, and pneumatic tools. Its UNIC Machinery segment offers UNIC cranes, mini crawler cranes, marine cranes, and UNIC carriers. The company's Metals segment manufactures and distributes electrolytic copper, gold, and silver, as well as sulfuric acid. Its Electronic segment manufactures and sells high-purity metallic arsenics, gallium phosphorus polycrystals, high-purity compounds, cores and coils, diffractive optical elements, aluminum nitride ceramics, and optical products. The company's Chemicals segment offers cuprous and cupric oxides, copper carbonate, iron sulfate heptahydrate, sulfuric acid, and ferrous sulfate. Its Real Estate segment leases real estate properties, as well as provides real estate agency services.
