Informatica CEO breaks down company's role in AI market

Informatica (INFA) CEO Amit Walia joins Julie Hyman and Brad Smith on Catalysts to discuss the company’s role in the artificial intelligence (AI) era after the AI-powered cloud data management provider reported third quarter results that fell short of Wall Street expectations. “Where we come into play is without data, there is no AI,” Walia tells Yahoo Finance, explaining Informatica talks “to customers sitting in the middle across the road, sitting in between all the hyperscalers.” The CEO says, “As I look into next year, I do see that phased productionization or operationalization of AI is going to happen. It's not a matter of if at all; it's a matter of when.
