India's Eros Investments to invest $1 billion in Malaysia, minister says

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - India's Eros Investments and its Immerso AI-IP unit are expected to invest $1 billion to develop an artificial intelligence park and movie studio in Malaysia, Malaysia's digital ministry said on Thursday.

The investment, which is expected to include an AI university and data centre in the park, has the potential to create 5,000 jobs in the next five years, the ministry said in a statement.
