?ssur commits to reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 79% by 2030 from a 2019 base year. ?ssur also commits to reducing absolute Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions from purchased goods and services, fuel and energy-related activities, upstream and downstream transportation and distribution by 25% by 2030 from a 2021 base year.

In its ambition to become net-zero by 2050, ?ssur also commits to reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 90% by 2050 from a 2019 base year and to reduce absolute Scope 3 emissions by 90% by 2050 from a 2021 base year.

These ambitious near-term (2030) and net-zero (2050) targets provide the company a clear guidance on where to prioritize efforts that support climate action, and are in line with what climate science deems necessary to limit global warming to 1.5°C.
