GM, UAW reportedly reach tentative labor deal

General Motors (GM) has reportedly reached a tentative labor agreement with the striking United Auto Workers (UAW) union, according to a report from Bloomberg. This news comes after the UAW reached deals with the other Big Three automakers Ford (F) and Stellantis (STLA) in days prior.

- We've got some big news breaking now.

If confirmed, General Motors reaching a tentative agreement with the United Auto Workers union to end a six-week old strike.

That's according to reporting from Bloomberg News here this morning.

We're tracking shares of GM here pre-market as well as.

We're just seconds away from the opening bell here on this Monday.

You're seeing shares higher by about 1.2% here and continuing to not just track the move for GM, but also for some of the others that are looking across where they are able to strike deals and waiting for them to be ratified as well.

Ford, over the weekend, those discussions going late.

And then additionally here, Stellantis to the latest.

- Yeah.

And coming out of-- let's dig a little bit deeper here into this report.

It's out here from Bloomberg, talking about what exactly this entails or what's included.

The deal includes a 25% hourly pay raise plus cost of living allowances over more than four-year contract.

This is according, again, to Bloomberg reports.

GM's tentative agreement does have similar terms from to what we heard here from Ford.

Still unclear, though, exactly what the differences may be, but a story that we are going to track here into the open.
