Intel rises, reportedly set to receive more government funding

Intel (INTC) shares rose in early trading on Monday following a Bloomberg report that the chip giant will receive up to $3.5 billion in funding to make chips for the Defense Department. This would be in addition to the billions the company was awarded under the Chips and Science Act.
