Scorching jobs report complicates things for the Fed, Meta stock surges: Yahoo Finance Live

The US added a whopping 353,000 jobs in January, much more than the 185,000 economists had been expecting. It could make the Federal Reserve’s job harder though. The central bank is looking for signs that higher interest rates are slowing down the economy. Also on fire are shares of Meta Platforms (META). The social media company posted better-than-expected earnings and announced it will be paying a dividend for the first time.
