We then narrowed it down to the billionaires with a philanthropy score of 4 and 5. The higher philanthropy score describes a larger percentage of wealth donations. We have hypothesized that the billionaires who have made larger donations live a much simpler life and continue to give away a big portion of their wealth.
Here is the breakdown of the Forbes philanthropy score:
A score of 4 means 10% to 19.99% of wealth is given away.
A score of 5 means more than 20% of the wealth is given away.
