AI governance is a long-term tailwind, not a 'speed bump'

As artificial intelligence continues to dominate market and investor narratives, is the valuation and growth of these AI companies sustainable?

"It's not just about the use cases and sales, marketing, drug discovery, but it's really around the foundational principles of AI governance. We are seeing day in and day out the AI risks are increasing. And also it's really critical for these companies to ensure that they're going to be compliant with emerging regulations," Credo AI Founder and CEO Navrina Singh tells Seana Smith and Madison Mills on Catalysts.

Credo AI is an artificial intelligence platform centered toward automating oversight and enabling regulatory compliance.

Singh states that AI developers view governance as "a speed bump in innovation," which may not be the case in the long run:

"And we are strong believers that if you're starting, especially with an emerging technology like artificial intelligence, with the right guardrails in place, what you end up seeing is you end up being the long-term winner."
