Shares of Colgate-Palmolive (CL) are sliding despite beating third quarter earnings expectations and raising its guidance. The company reported volume and pricing weakness in North America, which makes up about 20% of its sales.

On the other hand, shares of Centene (CNC) are rallying after the health insurer's third quarter profits exceeded expectations, driven by rate increases in Medicaid programs and higher membership in its health insurance exchange business.

Shares of Microsoft (MSFT) are also rising as CEO Satya Nadella was given a pay package worth over $79 million for fiscal year 2024, a 63% increase from last year. The package would have been about $5 million higher if Nadella hadn't taken a pay cut to reflect his "personal accountability" for the cybersecurity risks that have occurred at the company.
