Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger (DIS) has a lot on his plate, but one of the key items on his agenda is succession planning. Third Bridge Group sector analyst Jamie Lumley says one thing is clear, "Iger wants to do it right this time around," referencing the short tenure of previous Iger replacement Bob Chapek. That's also why, Lumley says, it may be a while before shareholders hear anything about a new CEO, arguing the company wants to get its content business back on track for the eventual replacement.
