Strong GDP data propels stocks, Tesla stock plummets: Yahoo Finance Live

All three of the major indexes (^DJI, ^IXIC, ^GSPC) are moving higher after the preliminary read on fourth quarter GDP showed the economy grew by 3.3% annually, much higher than the 2% economists had been expecting. One stock that is falling, though, is Tesla (TSLA). Shares of the EV maker have been trading sharply lower after its fourth quarter earnings report missed estimates and it issued a disappointing outlook for 2024. Other trending tickers on Yahoo Finance include IBM (IBM), UnitedHealth (UNH), and Humana (HUM).
