Earnings, economic data, and the election fuel volatility

US SPDR Business at State Street Global Advisors chief investment strategist Michael Arone joins Alexandra Canal and Josh Lipton on Market Domination to discuss the three things driving market volatility: earnings, economic data, and the election.

Arone tells Yahoo Finance that what he calls the “triple E” is driving near-term market volatility. He says earnings are "overwhelmingly number one," then economic data with the jobs report to be released on Friday, and finally, "the election. That's going to drive short-term volatility."

He says investors should "Go to the polls, vote, get educated, do all that. But when it comes to your portfolio, be objective, be logical, and be disciplined. We think that that's the right approach."
